This Song Will Put Your Child To Sleep

If you like classical music, you most likely would have heard Ave Maria.

The some which is sung in Latin was composed by Franz Schubert in 1825 as part of his Opus 52, a setting of seven songs from Walter Scott‘s popular epic poem The Lady of the Lake, loosely translated into German.

The song is now in many other versions.

The version I recently heard was by Barbara Streisand and it just carries you away to a faraway wonderland where you can decorate your imagination.

Google it and listen to it, maybe with your child and see if it helps to keep them calm.

Classical music had been found to not only relax children but has been touted as improving memory, emotion, mood, even test scores.
