Regina Askia-Williams, former actress and beauty queen, is based in America where she works as a registered nurse (RN) and healthcare and educational activist.
She recently added another feather to her cap with a new certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP.
The ex-model is also celebrating her 50th birthday and in doing so, with the theme RAW @ 50, she is calling for better nursing services in her home country.
In a Facebook post, she said:
